WE HAD a wonderful celebration on Tuesday evening with the Indianapolis Colts, United Way of Central Indiana, and Indiana Wesleyan University for the 2011 Colts Hometown Huddle.
An old room in the basement of the Christamore House was converted into a state-of-the-art fitness center for our youth programs. Representatives from the Colt’s team, UWCI, and IWU addressed the crowd prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony along with Mr. Bill Scott, Executive Director of the Christamore House.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, Colt’s players and the mascot Blue interacted with the youth on the new fitness equipment. One of the best upgrades to the room were the two flat-panel TV screens attached to Nintendo Wii entertainment systems. The game of choice was NFL Training Day!!
